LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s Overseas Secretary Dominic Raab stated intelligence sharing wouldn’t be jeopardized by Tuesday’s determination to permit China’s Huawei [HWT.UL] a job in constructing the nation’s 5G telecoms community.
“GCHQ have confirmed categorically that how we assemble our 5G and full fibre public telecoms networks has nothing to do with how we are going to share categorized knowledge,” Raab instructed lawmakers on Tuesday, referring to the British surveillance company.
“Intelligence sharing won’t be put in danger or would ever be put in danger by this authorities.”
