BEIJING (Reuters) – U.S. electrical car maker Tesla Inc’s (TSLA.O) China automobile registrations jumped 450% in March, month on month, information from auto consultancy LMC Automotive confirmed.
Tesla’s China registrations rose to 12,709 models in March from 2,314 in February.
General auto gross sales in China plunged 43.4% in March, as a coronavirus pandemic continued to depress demand, business information confirmed.
Tesla, which began delivering vehicles from its Shanghai manufacturing facility final 12 months, mentioned final week it has began China gross sales of two extra Mannequin three variants constructed at its Shanghai plant.
